The Western Pond, also known as Al-Fawqa, is semi-circular in shape, with a perimeter of approximately 300 meters. Historically, it was used for irrigation and watering livestock, and today it is considered the main source for irrigating the town's crops, especially tobacco cultivation. Our ancestors dug it manually long ago to make use of rainwater and conserve water.
