The Pine Forest of Rmeish, located in the heart of southern Lebanon, is a natural treasure beloved by locals and visitors alike. Nestled at an altitude of about 1,950 meters, the forest offers fresh air, cool breezes, and breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes making it a perfect escape for families, nature lovers, and hikers. The community takes great pride in caring for this unique environment. Recently, the Scouts from Groupe Saint George’s Rmeish organized a cleaning campaign under the slogan “Our cleanliness is a proof of our belonging.” They removed waste, maintained the picnic tables, and prepared the area to warmly welcome visitors during the holiday seasons. When you visit, we kindly invite you to join in this spirit of respect and care. Please keep the forest clean, treat the trees gently, and leave the area just as beautiful as you found it. In doing so, you help ensure that the forest continues to inspire and refresh future generations.
